A Couple Of Monday Quickies

It’s obvious that the only exercise Republicans get is jumping to conclusions.  The bonehead asshole shooter in Orlando last week called 911 and said he pledged allegiance to ISIS, so all of the Republicans and Faux New boneheads immediately said the shooter was a Islamic terrorist.  That’s about as stupid as saying someone is a member of the Dallas Cowboys because they bought a ticket to one of their games.
They haven’t drug out the mental illness talking point yet, but I’m sure they will get around to it.

And proving that extremist Christian fanatics are cut from the same cloth as Islamic extremist, Pastor Donnie (DipShit) Romero of Fort Worth said, “it was a shame that the gunman Omar Mateen didn’t kill more people.” He went on to say that the 50 people killed were perverts and pedophiles.  Yes sir, that’s spreading that good Christian love around. Evidently little Donnie missed the parts in the Bible quoting Jesus.

A Few Things That Ran Through My Brain And Came Out My Computer

Donald (Hair-Brained) Trump is the Milli Vanilli of politics.

Have you noticed how the Republicans have an answer for every problem?

Trump is the Bernie Madoff of politics.

The all inclusive Republican BIGot Tent certainly includes a lot of different people.
  1. racist
  2. homophobes
  3. misogynist
  4. religious wackos
  5. people with very low I.Q.’s
  6. hypocrites

Trump is the General Custer of poitics.

The newly released sealed documents in the Trump University trial have proven that Trump University was a place of higher scamming.

Trump is the subprime mortgage of politics.

I'm Just Sayin'

I do hope responsible people will do the right thing and take down the Confederate flag where ever it flies, but I also want all of the ignorant racist-rednecks to keep wearing the flag on their T-shirts, gimmie-caps and displaying bumper stickers of the flag on their beat-up trashed-out pick-up trucks so we will know exactly who they are and what they stand for.

I get why TeaNut Republicans are so negative. When you walk around 24/7 with your head up their ass, you can only have a shitty view of the world.

Exactly how can a white person explain what it’s like to be a black person?

I keep seeing an ad on Facebook from the Uber people where I can earn up to a thousand dollars a week giving people rides in my car. I am pretty sure the gig is a getaway driver for bank robbers.

Finally a Bush speaks the truth.

The Crying Game

The TeaNut Republicans are in a snit, but then again, they are always in a snit.  In fact that is about all they do.  They sure as hell don’t get anything done. They couldn’t pass a bill if they had taken a laxative for a month.  The Republicans don’t govern, they don’t offer solutions, they just say no. This week’s snit is over President Obama using executive action on getting something done about immigration.  They think he should be impeached if he uses it, so let’s take a look at past Presidents use of it to see if Obama is any different.

Oh I see why he is different.  He’s not white. A closer look at the record finds that the last 5 Republican Presidents used executive action 18 times to change immigration policy.  I believe the Republicans golden rule is “Do as I say, not as I do.”

If these assholes really did believe in a smaller government, they would all resign and if the Democrats really wanted to be in power, they would figure out a way to get viable candidates to run and their supporters to actually go vote.

Just A Few Things To Think About

So the Tea Partiers and Republicans are so dedicated to cutting the federal budget they are willing to shut down the Government.  This is all about cutting the public deficit which the Republicans were as complicit as the Democrats in running up to $1.5 trillion. Here is the part I don’t understand.  Shutting down the Government cost the taxpayers (Duh, I believe that is you and me) a lot of money.  When the Republicans shut down the Government in 1996 for 26 days it cost the taxpayers $1.4 billion dollars. I’m pretty sure today it will cost quite a bit more.

Transocean Ltd. gave its top executives bonuses for achieving the "best year in safety performance in our company's history" despite the explosion of its oil rig that killed 11 people, including nine of its own employees, and spilled 200 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico.  If this is their best year, I hate to see what the worse year looked like.

The top six executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac received $35.4 million over a two year period. Since Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were taken over in September 2008, the companies’ mounting mortgage losses have required a $153 billion infusion from taxpayers.  Total losses may reach $363 billion through 2013, according to government estimates.  Man, why can’t I get a gig like that?  I can screw things up as well as the next guy and for less money.  I would have done it for half that.

And speaking of money, guess who is footing the bill for Nitwit Gingrich’s Presidential campaign?  It seems Gingrich’s financial angel is the publicity-shy Sheldon Adelson, chairman of the Las Vegas Sands Corp.  Adelson is a billionaire casino mogul whose business empire stretches from the Palazzo on Las Vegas’s famous Strip to the Chinese gambling hub of Macau.  So far Adelson has pumped about 7 million into Nitwit’s pocket.

I am pretty sure ole Nitwit’s conservative Christian faithful are not aware of this little tidbit or even know who Sheldon Adelson is, but it seems the Government is certainly interested in Mr. Adelson’s affairs. The Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission have opened investigations for possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Nevada and Hong Kong regulators have opened their own probes, according to company disclosures.

I wonder if ole Nitwit said anything to folks when he spoke at the Conservative Principles Conference Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Des Moines, Iowa. I am willing to bet that subject somehow slipped his mind.

Today's good read is An Empty Death by Laura Wilson.  An excellent murder mystery set in World War II London.
